I’ve Signed Up – What’s Next?

Being an Urban Angel is about every day of your life, as well as the special events. We like to think of ourselves as Angels On Assignment with a dual mission:

Be an Urban Angel at home – develop a culture of looking out for others – maybe an elderly neighbour, a new mum, a stressed work colleague, a broken teenager. Showing kindness in a lonely world can literally change someone’s life. Far too many people disqualify themselves from being able to make a difference. But you are brilliant – you have a smile, a hug, a kind word, you can give away life, encouragement, inclusion to so many who are in desperate need right in your community. Urban Angels is about what YOU can do.

Be an Angel of influence – as women we can gather, we can engage, we can talk, we can raise awareness. So how about us using that influence to change lives? How about gathering for a cause, talking to bring about change? We want you to use your influence wisely and we are giving you some amazing causes to talk about to your friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours – speaking up for those who can’t.

You will see details on all four of our chosen charities on the left hand side under ‘Global Assignments’, so you can equip yourself with information and then do something about it – committing to raising money and awareness to support these and other Urban Angel causes by organising fundraising events. Let it reflect your unique style – maybe a sporting event or a garden party, a craft sale or a bags and shoes party! You know your friends, you know what they love to get involved with. Everybody wants to make a difference and everyone can, so let’s have fun and get to it!
